A round-up of the weekend's friendlies involving Championship teams.
Reading began life without Dave Kitson with a 2-1 friendly win over MK Dons - but picked up an injury fear over Kevin Doyle.
Winger Jimmy Kebe opened the scoring in the 18th minute after a run and cross from former Fulham defender Liam Rosenior before Roberto Di Matteo's side equalised in the 25th minute through youngster Sam Baldock.
Leroy Lita was then brought off by Steve Coppell after he was booked for an off-the-ball incident and Doyle came on to replace him.
But the Republic of Ireland international lasted less than 20 minutes before he was brought off with an injury.
Stephen Hunt came on to replace him and scored the winner in the 65th minute after Kebe had played him in.
Preston recorded a comfortable 3-0 win at Morecambe as their preparations for the Championship season continued.
Defender Sean St Ledger opened the scoring after just three minutes with a close-range finish after Chris Sedgwick's run and cross.
Sedgwick was again the provider for the second goal four minutes later when his corner was headed home by Karl Hawley.
And former Liverpool man Neil Mellor wrapped up the scoring midway through the first half when Joe Anyinsah's cross found its way through to him and he buried it from the edge of the area.
On Sunday, Birmingham City recorded a 2-1 win at home to Nuremberg, while West Midlands rivals Wolves were 1-0 winners at Dundee.

please READING make sure you go up this season .Hunt is one of the best players on the pitch or do you not watch the game
Reading, please remain at the Bottom...most the players are very 'Dirty'!!! Feel very ease you are relegated....HUNT is the culprit!
