Wed 20 Aug, 06:00 PM

Liam Dickinson is hoping to rediscover his golden goalscoring touch and help lead Huddersfield up the League One table this season. The striker, who scored 21 goals for Stockport last season, signed on a one-month loan from Derby on Tuesday.

And he is determined to make the most of his brief stint at the Galpharm stadium.

"The manager called me in and said a loan move to Huddersfield could be a great way to get some regular first team football and help boost my confidence.

"He told me (manager) Stan Ternent would be able to help me learn and that the set-up at Huddersfield was excellent, and from what I've seen so far he was spot on.

"Hopefully this move will help both myself and Huddersfield, and my aim is to force my way into the first team here and score some goals to help fire the club up the League One table."
