New signing Gabor Gyepes is hoping strong performances for Cardiff City can help him fulfil his international ambitions with Hungary. The Hungarian joined the Bluebirds in a £200,000 deal from Northampton on Tuesday.
He has represented his country 17 times and is determined to return to the national side for the coming World Cup campaign.
"I have aspirations to play for Hungary again but I must concentrate on gaining a starting place and performing well for Cardiff first," Gyepes told the club's official website.
"If I can do that, then hopefully I can get back into the international set up.
"It's a big challenge for me and I will always give Cardiff 100% commitment."
