Robinho no longer has any chance of joining Chelsea due to Real Madrid's refusal to even discuss a possible deal, according to the Brazilian's advisor.
The Blues have been chasing the 24-year-old for most of the summer following the appointment of his countryman Luiz Felipe Scolari as manager at Stamford Bridge.
Talks are believed to have taken place between the English and Spanish clubs earlier in the close season, but Robinho's representative Wagner Ribeiro insists the door has now been closed on the deal by the Bernabeu hierarchy.
"The dream of Chelsea is broken because Real Madrid will not even negotiate. It is impossible to advance any conversation," he told the Daily Star.
"Next summer we will sort out the situation if people can show some sense."

Chelsea after two years of trying to keep a solid team and failing badly are now once again trying to buy the premiership title with outdated portuguese players. scolari is a good enough manager to raise a decent challenge for the title with any chelsea team that he has available, spending lots of money just puts pressure on him to deliver immediately.
chelsea has the potential to do well this season with the squad they have now. it was always gonna be hard to get a player at the price that they REALLY are worth once they know that chelsea is interested. it kinda puts you off, all this stupid wheeling and dealing, cos its all bout the dough to them. i totally agree with you chelsea jake14. a bunch of hypocrites! blues for life!!!
thats good news as i think to many super stars and we have enough now where was he going to play as joe cole had a wonderfull season last year and deco and lampard and ballack and on and on so lets stand still now and play with what we have go on you bluse and good luck to terry as captain of england not that england will win anything
well Man u refused to let Daved Bekham go until his contract was up so there was no surprises there
To chelsea.jake14,
Well said... I am a Man U fan...
Lol i'm a Chelsea fan, but maybe not getting really envolved in trying to sign him was a good idea. After all we dont want to do a 'Real Madrid'. i also hate Calderon he says there is no point in keeping an unhappy player (Tells this to Manchester United F.C, Regarding Cristiano Ronaldo) and Robinho's agent says he is unhappy there, but he refuses to sell him. He also says Robinho is happy, this bloke needs to get a brain.
