Andrius Velicka could be set for a quicker than anticipated return to Rangers after suffering a knee injury on his Bristol City debut.
Robins boss Gary Johnson fears the on-loan striker is set for a long spell on the sidelines as he awaits the results of a scan on a knee injury.
The 30-year-old Lithuania international sustained the injury when challenging for the ball during his debut in Tuesday`s 1-0 home win over QPR at Ashton Gate.
He twisted awkwardly before collapsing to the ground just five minutes after his introduction as a second-half substitute.
"It's terrible for him. It looks like he'll be out for some time," Johnson told City's official website.
"Our thoughts are with Andrius, especially so soon after joining the club and five minutes into his debut. What bad luck."
