British rider Bellis in coma

British rider Jonathan Bellis is in a coma in a Florence hospital after a traffic accident.

British Cycling said the 21-year-old rider from the Isle of Man had been involved in a crash on his motor scooter.

The accident occured on Saturday near his training base in Quarratta.

  3. My heart goes out to his friends and family. Just to­ note what is it with the Isle of man and promising­ cyclist getting hurt? Was it not a few years ago a­ young kid died when a tire from a truck hit him rolling­ down the hil?
