Yvan Muller took victory in race two of the World Touring Car Championship meeting in Imola while standings leader Gabriele Tarquini was second.
The duo swapped positions from their race one finishes to give SEAT Sport another one-two.
Alain Menu finished third in the Chevrolet while BMW's title hopeful Augusto Farfus salvaged a point by finishing eighth.
Alessandro Zanardi took fourth and competitive Briton James Thompson sixth, as they did in the first race, while Jordi Gene was fifth with SEAT Sport team-mate Rickard Rydell seventh.
Tarquini now stands seven points clear of Muller and 18 ahead of Farfus in the title stakes.
Stefano D'Aste won through in the Independents' class - finishing 10th overall - from Felix Porteiro (12th) and Franz Engstler (13th).
Menu got a good start off the line and led until lap seven, which was when the SEAT duo overtook him and broke away.
On the opening lap Briton Rob Huff and Tarquini made contact, the latter suffering little damage to his vehicle after attempting to move up the inside between the two Rivazza bends. However the Chevy man spun and rejoined at the back of the field.
Tarquini bashed into Muller from behind in the final laps as he pushed for a second race win over the weekend, but both were able to continue to the line unscathed.

I would love it if Lada, BMW and Chevrolet said forget and with drew next year, then so called FIA World touring car championship can be recalled the Seat Cupra Cup, oh hold there is already one of those, morons
What a JOKE! Can someone explain how Tarquini rams Huffy of on lap one, yet in the Germany Larini gets docked places for doing the same thing to the Lada.
If the FIA WTCC want Seat to Cheat its way to the Championship, why bother at all, can someone explain to me how Seat are running turbo diesels while every other manufacture since 2005 have ran petrols, if you going to allow one manufacture to use what ever they like then @#$% to it, allow BMW to use the M3 engines and allow Chevy to us there v8 500 bhp engines.
FIA you going to ruin this championship with such cheating basis to Seat.......
Some great door handle racing. Makes F1 look tame. Even the Lada gave a good account of itself today and thanks to a decent Brit driving one - grabbed some points. The dutchman managed to invent a new barrel roll ala Lada - which was fun. Andy - you drove the bloody wheels of that @#$% BMW again to no availand sorry you are out of the championship now. Get an Audi for next season mate! Diesel one!!! 4wd one!! lets see that WTC can be as mard as the German DTM
