Juventus maintained their perfect start to the Serie A season with a 2-0 win over Livorno.

FOOTBALL 2009-10 Juventus Livorno Vincenzo Iaquinta - 0

In the early game in Serie A, Napoli and Udinese shared the spoils in an entertaining 0-0 draw.

Juventus never looked back from the moment Gianluigi Buffon made a fine smothering save to deny Francesco Tavano.

The home side took the lead on eight minutes, Vincenzo Iaquinta heading Mauro Camoranesi's excellent centre into the bottom corner.

Camoranesi was the architect of Juve's second goal on the half-hour, with the midfielder slipping a perfect pass into the path of Claudio Marchisio and he clipped a superb chip into the top corner.

Livorno were not without chances, Buffon denying Cristiano Lucarelli and Tavano, while at the other end Alfonso De Lucia pulled off a fine save to thwart Iaquinta.

Buffon was busy after the break, making saves from Tomas Danilevicius and Antonio Candreva, but Juve could have extended their margin of victory had David Trezeuet not hit a post and volleyed over from eight yards

Udinese came away from Napoli with a creditable 0-0 draw.

Both sides were intent on attack and there were chances aplenty, but the main talking point was Antonio di Natale's disallowed strike.

The Udinese forward thought he had fired his side ahead moments before the interval but his volley from a corner was controversially chalked off for offside.

Chances were traded at both ends in the second half, with Marek Hamsik guilty of missing a sitter for Napoli following superb wing play from the excellent Ezequiel Lavezzi.
