Canada's Aleksandra Wozniak cruised into the semi-finals of the WTA Bell Challenge in Quebec with crushing 6-1 6-1 win over Russia's Alla Kudryavtseva.
But top seed Nadia Petrova withdrew from her quarter-final match with an illness whilst trailing by a set.
Instead of meeting Russia's Petrova in the semis, Wozniak will face Hungarian Melinda Cink who was handed the win when Petrova did not start the second set because of a virus. Cink had won the first set in a tiebreak.
Meanwhile, fourth-seeded Lucie Safarova of Czech Republic beat wild card Bethanie Mattek-Sands 6-3 6-4 and eighth-seeded German Julia Goerges stopped American qualifier Lilia Osterloh 6-2 6-4.

Maybe on reflection she just has a heavy period enough said.
You WAS-NEE-NACKERED, she is lovely, the best thing since powdered milk!!!
Nadia seems to be struggling this year again could it be all the change of coaches she's had of late.Anyway wish you well Nadia.
