Furious Jones blasts Bluebirds

Cardiff boss Dave Jones questioned his players' desire after they slipped to a disappointing 2-0 home defeat to QPR.

A Jay Simpson first-half brace sealed the points for the visitors to leave Cardiff down in sixth place and threatening to undo their good work at the start of the season following three defeats out of the last four games.

"We never got going and looked slow and lacklustre," said Jones. "When it is going wrong you have to stick at it and it took an 18-year-old in Josh Magennis to show the rest of the players the way.

"Perhaps some of them thought they only had to turn up but football has a habit of kicking you in the teeth. Our forwards were non-existent although Chris Burke did try but there were some who failed to put a decent shift in.

"I will forgive the players if their passing is off but I can't defend them for that performance because you cannot stroll around the pitch and all the hard work in midweek has been lost. We never worked hard enough and that is what has let us down."

You bought the wrong players you spent all the spare­ money on rubbish, and now you are paying the price, YOU­ needed a goalscoring midfield player and bought full­ backs and centre backs, time for a new start, the same­ midfield as last season that FAILED and here we go­ again same players same attitude same results NO HOPERS­ !!!!
