Lambert lauds batting Canaries

Norwich manager Paul Lambert paid tribute to his side after they had fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Charlton.

Wes Hoolahan scored the Canaries' first and Grant Holt scored in stoppage time to deny the Addicks another victory. Lambert said: "We started well and certainly didn't deserve to go behind, then we went 2-0 down and it looked really tough for us.

"Both goals we conceded were really poor but the lads' response was first class and in the end we got what we deserved."

  1. A point richly deserved- If Parkinson is whinging about our equaliser then he should realize these things even themselves out over the course of the season-you only have to look at the ref's shocking performance at MK Dons (joke pen, home side awarded EVERY 50/50 descision, blatant 1st half pen ignored) to see this..maybe, just maybe Norwich actually got the rub of the green for the first time in ages..besides, its a joy to see a young, hungry City side actually battling rather than wilting in the face of adversity- proof that slowly Lambert is getting it right, all he needs now is an infusion of quality amongst Gunn's honest but largely flatpack buys..heres hoping Wes will stay as he's the kind of player with the quality to turn a game-as he proved today.
Sick of losing to Charlton over the years, so heres hoping we've gone some way to breaking that bogey..C'MON YOU YELLOWS : )
