Alan Pardew hailed Southampton's 2-0 win over fellow strugglers Yeovil - their first league win of the campaign - as the most important the club would get all season.
Pardew, whose side remain rooted to the foot of Coca-Cola League One despite a first win in eight league games, saw penalties in either half from striker Rickie Lambert - the second a very dubious handball by Richard Martin - sink Terry Skiverton's side.
``There is relief in the dressing room,'' said Pardew.
``That was a great win for us though and I firmly believe it will be our most important win of the entire season.
``When we scored it was like someone injected us with apprehension, but once we got the second we settled.
``The second penalty was fortunate - I thought the linesman was flagging against us - but it was a deserved slice of luck because we haven't had too much this season.''

A wins a win not matter what the circumstances are and, lets be honest, Southampton deserve some luck, Come on SAINTS - onward and upwards - let this be the start of something good.
