Mark Robins will go back into the transfer market after watching his Barnsley side play out a goalless draw with Swansea in his first home game in charge.
The Coca-Cola Championship strugglers were second best against Paulo Sousa's side, who dominated for much of the game but failed to capitalise due a lack of quality in the final third.
Robins masterminded Barnsley's first victory of the season at Derby in midweek in his second game at the helm since replacing Simon Davey, but he was given a reminder of the task he faces at Oakwell as his side produced a lacklustre display.
The former Rotherham boss said: "We've got six of our more regular starters out with injuries. We've got injuries to key players.
"We've brought one or two in and we're looking to do some more business if we can do. We need some help certainly because when you look round there are lads on the bench who have not played."
