Peter Taylor slammed Wycombe's first-half performance as "unacceptable" after they went down 1-0 to high-flying MK Dons.

Mat Doumbe`s first goal of the season gave the impressive Dons a well-deserved sixth victory from their last seven, and inflicted a fifth league loss on the Chairboys.

Taylor said: "I thought the first half was totally unacceptable and I've told certain players that they need to have a really good think about themselves as we have to do a lot better than that.

"We lost the ball to them, and even when we won it we just played it long to nobody which meant we were under too much pressure and ended up defending too much of the time.

"We looked too nervous and had people doing millions of things that we don't want them to do, so I was very surprised at that."
