Weir: We must do better

Rangers captain David Weir admits a point from their last two games is simply not good enough - despite being down to 10 men on both occasions.

The Scottish champions were held to a goalless draw at Kilmarnock on Saturday, seven days after another stalemate against Motherwell.

"It's something we've got to address," Weir said.

"We won at Hearts and we were a man down there. But that's three games where we have been a man down and it obviously makes it difficult for us.

"We've got to go away and win games but every game is difficult.

"The Motherwell game was a tough game and they played well against us and Kilmarnock also played well and put a lot into the game.

"Nobody gives you anything for nothing so maybe it's going to be difficult for everyone this year.

"But we are never happy with a point, Rangers have got to win games.

"We didn't win last week and we didn't win this week. The bottom line is we've got to be winning games.

"If we keep dropping points, we won't be top of the league. But we have to give Kilmarnock credit, they put a lot into the game and they are going to be a strong side this season."

  6. Haig ya pie. Gie yersel peace. A great result in­ Germany. Yis wur boring as hell. I was reading here­ last week how you lot wur top of the league and that­ was only after 4 games on goal difference. Now it's­ not a big deal. We are bad. you lot are worse.
