Championship - Lincoln still pushing for Torres

Lincoln are still hopeful of resurrecting a deal to bring Sergio Torres back to the club from Peterborough.

The winger made a positive impression at Sincil Bank during a loan spell, but returned to parent club Peterborough at the weekend.

Lincoln are working on a long-term loan deal and chairman Bob Dorrian says the Posh are considering their offer.

"We have tabled a bid to bring Sergio back on loan, so the deal is not dead," Dorrian told the Lincolnshire Echo

"This would be on a longer-term loan and Peterborough are still considering that offer."
