Paul Gallagher came off the bench to score his first goals for Leicester as they recorded a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace at the Walkers Stadium.
Gallagher was witness to a terrible first half as both sides struggled to string two passes together but came on at the break to add some much-needed finesse.
He swiftly won a penalty with a smart turn and, when Matty Fryatt failed to beat Julian Speroni from the spot, followed in to score before clipping in a delightful second for Nigel Pearson's side.
Danny Butterfield miscued a backpass and Gallagher took full advantage, lobbing Speroni from fully 30 yards with 10 minutes remaining.
