Norwich manager Paul Lambert backed rookie goalkeeper Fraser Forster to learn from the televised blunder that gifted Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford an injury-time winner in the 2-1 defeat at Elland Road.
The goal fired Simon Grayson's men back to the top of League One after Canaries captain Grant Holt had answered Bradley Johnson's 15th-minute goal with an equaliser before the break.
Leeds were well below their best and Lambert said: "We deserved to win the game. To a man we were absolutely brilliant.
"Fraser may not feel like it but he will be better for that experience in the long run. He is only a young kid starting out in his career and he made two saves that were different class."
He added: "If we keep playing like that we will be in the mix. That performance is up there with the best since I took over as manager."
