Pearson not fazed by toothless Foxes

Leicester`s recent lack of goals does not concern manager Nigel Pearson.

The Foxes have found the back of the net just three times in their last four Championship matches. They dominated the goalless draw with Derby on Saturday but drew a blank despite 16 attempts at goal.

Matty Fryatt is the club`s top scorer with eight goals in all competitions but fellow forwards Steve Howard, Paul Gallagher and Yann Kermorgant have yet to get off the mark this season.

Pearson said: "It doesn't worry me because we have some very good strikers. I know over the course of the season we will create and score enough goals.

"It is frustrating for us that we couldn't convert our superiority into goals against Derby, but you get games like that and it is disappointing. If you look at the league table, it was a missed opportunity, I suppose.

"There were some good things from that game as well, but we need to make sure we are more clinical in front of goal. However, I`m not at all worried. I would be worried if we weren`t creating the chances, but we are."
