Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp could allow Jamie O'Hara to remain at Portsmouth for the remainder of the season.

The on-loan midfielder is scheduled to return to White Hart Lane in January.

But there is an option of an additional six-month stay if both clubs agree.

Redknapp, who had earlier insisted that O'Hara would return in January, said the situation could change if Spurs had no pressing injury concerns.

"We'll wait and see on Jamie," said Redknapp.

"If we're okay and we've got plenty of bodies and Jamie wants to stay and they want to keep him on loan, then something could be done."
