Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope remains happy with the start striker Chris Dickson has made to life at the club despite a recent slump in form.
The on-loan Charlton striker has scored three goals for the Pirates since linking up with them last month but apologised to his manager after missing a host of good chances in Saturday's defeat at Southend.
However, Trollope knows what sort of player the 24-year-old is and believes he has plenty of improvement in him.
"Chris came in after having a frustrating time at Charlton and we knew, having seen him for Gillingham, the quality he has," Trollope told Press Association Sport.
"He's a very good finisher and he's started his spell with us very well.
"He's still learning how we do things and we feel there is more to come from him. He's building up relationships with everyone else in the team."

Charlton supporters have mixed feelings about Dickson. As a Charlton season ticket holder and never having missed a home match for the last 15 years, I cannot even remember him playing in the first team. That is how much of an impact he has here.
