Waddock hails players' attitude

New Wycombe manager Gary Waddock has saluted his squad for their professionalism during his first week in charge.

The former Aldershot boss began his reign at the club with an impressive 1-1 draw with Colchester.

But Waddock is keen to praise the whole squad, not just those who played at the weekend.

"Peter (Taylor, former Wycombe manager) has put a good group together here and perhaps they're lacking a bit in confidence and belief. But there was a buzz in the dressing room after the game and we'll get that feeling back," he told the club's official website.

"It's not just about the 11, it's about the squad and they've all played their part.

"Since we walked into the building on Wednesday, they've applied themselves in a fantastic manner and if they continue to play in that way we'll pick up points."
