Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra is keen to sign a new deal.
The Red Devils are reportedly preparing a new contract for Evra to tie him down beyond 2009, when his current deal expires.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to secure his top stars on new long-term contracts and Evra is set to be rewarded for his fine form.
And the Frenchman's representative Federico Pastorello confirmed his client would be happy to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
"Patrice is under contract until 2009 and he is very happy at Manchester United," Pastorello told skysports.com.
"He has a great relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson and he has a lot of respect for him.
"He would be happy to extend his stay as he enjoys playing with such great players and such a great club."
