Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel again finished top in Formula One testing in the final day at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya.
Toro Rosso's Sebastien Bourdais and Sebastien Buemi completed the top three in what was an excellent day for the Red Bull brand and drivers called 'Seb'.
Vettel picked up from where he had left off on day two, shaving almost half a second off his best time aboard the RB4 to lead the way and send out a warning signal that in 2009 he fully intends to add to his Italian Grand Prix success achieved with STR.
"It was good to be back in a race car again, for the first time since Brazil," the 21-year-old stated. "Running the 2009 slick tyres was very interesting, and very different to what Formula One has been used to for the past few years.
"It was also a useful couple of days for me from the point-of-view of getting to know the engineers and the rest of the team. It is important to develop a common understanding between us - and winter testing is the ideal opportunity to do just that."
Fourth on the final timing screens was McLaren-Mercedes test driver Gary Paffett.
Fifth-fastest was Honda's Jenson Button, the Englishman less than three tenths of a second ahead of the impressive Bruno Senna in the second RA108, with the pair - possible team-mates in F1 next year - sandwiching the evenly-matched BMW-Sauber duo of tester Klien and regular race driver Nick Heidfeld. Senna lapped almost three seconds quicker than he had done on the opening day, and seven tenths up on the best effort set by fellow GP2 graduate Lucas di Grassi - his principal rival for a seat at the Brackley-based outfit in 2009 - on day two.
"It's nice to be back in a car that I enjoy driving," enthused Button, who continued his set-up programme, running on slick rubber and working through a series of aerodynamic and suspension evaluations on the modified RA108.
"Taking a lot of the down-force off and running on slick tyres suits my driving style a lot more than grooved tyres.
"I've had a fun couple of days and it's been very useful, as we have tested many things which should help us with the new car. It's been a positive start to 2009 already, and I'm very pleased. I've just got to keep pushing the team hard now to get the improvements that we are hoping to achieve for next year."

tt - what are you basing that on? would you say the same for raikkonen then?
take the car out of the equation and young lewis ain't lookin' all THAT hot.....

tt: And if talent does not manifest itself as achievment then how else can one measure it man?
'The stats provided by MP4-23 makes it clear that Lewis has wiped the floor with the competition and staked his claim as the greatest '
The greatest Rookie/newcomer, but you can't claim that he is the greatest until he has won at least a few more championships and broken some if not all of Schumachers records.
MP4-23, maybe you might want to consult your Oxford English Dictionary, or other reference of choice and take a quick peak at the difference between 'talent' and 'achievement'
Anyway, Lewis still the best. The stats provided by MP4-23 makes it clear that Lewis has wiped the floor with the competition and staked his claim as the greatest
I am saved. No one was impersonating me. It was just by brother who had hacked into my account and was fooling around

You can see from my little list above that he is not the most talented driver in the paddock by a long way, in my opinion the four drivers below him are the ones to beat.
Thats not saying that he is not talented because he is, anyone with any knowledge of F1 can see that but to call him the most talented in F1 at present, I think not my friend.
I think it's too early to say that either Kubica or Vettel are going to be the fastest drivers in F1. I think Alonso is an amazing driver, but I don't think he is the fastest over a single lap. I think he is the best over a race distance for sure. He is an agressive, intelligent driver with brilliant race craft. If you look back and when he was racing against Jarno Trulli at Renault, he got outperformed by him in many races and especially in qualifying.
Kubica and Vettel haven't really achieved anything yet. When they start fighting consitantly for wins and championships, then we can start talking about them in the same vein as Alonso, Raikkonen, Hamilton and errmm Massa?
Whatever ...
Still that doesn't change the fact that Vettel is the most talented F1 driver in the paddocks. Maybe not the quickest yet(refering to alonso) but its only a matter of time before he becomes faster then the spaniard also

Hi guys Ace here.
I have been studying the posts of some of the ppl on this site and have come to the following conclusions based on my IQCalcabase software.
Pond.Simba, stivsf1, Rav A, mauricechlela, Marnio, Ollieboyyy, J.Bolam and Golf in the Kingdom are the same person. The software, by analysing their posts came up with a mental age of 2 year 6 months. But the thing was they were all within the same Henderson Bounds on the JXY plots - interesting. This means with 99.9999% certainty they are the same sad person.
Smoke me a Kipper.
