Based on our weekly player ratings, we run down the best and worst players from each club going into the festive period.

How it works

We tot up the marks out of 10 awarded in five national newspapers - Sun, Mirror, Mail, Times and Guardian - to reach a total out of 50 for every starter from every Premier League game. These are then averaged over the course of the season. Players must have nine or more starts to be eligible.
