Crewe have signed versatile Everton youngster Patrick Boyle on a one-month loan deal as manager Steve Holland looks to bolster his options.The 20-year-old left-back, who can also operate in midfield or central defence, is a regular for the Toffees reserves but is yet to make his bow for the first team.

The Scotland Under-19 international, who has had a previous spell on loan at Norwich, goes straight into the squad for Tuesday's game against Swansea.
