Notts County midfielder Matt Austin has extended his loan spell at Blue Square North outfit Gainsborough Trinity.Austin has been with the non-league side since early December and started in their 3-0 win against Vauxhall Motors on Saturday.

With no reserve team at Meadow Lane, the loan stint has provided the 18-year-old with some much needed match practice.

"I've really enjoyed it," he told the club's official website.

"Getting some games has been exciting and I felt I played well at the weekend.

"I should have scored, but I was pleased with how I performed."
