On-loan West Brom striker Stuart Nicholson is hoping to keep on impressing the Wrexham fans after earning a standing ovation on his debut. The 20-year-old arrived at the Racecourse Ground last week and helped the League Two basement side stun leaders MK Dons 1-0 on Saturday, and when he was substituted late on, he received a warm reception from the home fans.
And he told the club's official website: "That was great. Obviously you want to make an impressive in your first game, and it was nice to get such a reception. Hopefully it will continue.
"I've got pace and I like playing on the shoulder of the last defender and getting in behind them.
"I hope I showed that I'm not scared of a challenge either. If there's a ball to be won, I'll go for it."
