Bees boss in the dark over fixture

Mon 21 Jan, 03:30 PM

Barnet boss Paul Fairclough admits the uncertainty over their fixture pile-up is "amazing" as he still does not know Saturday's opposition. The Bees host Swindon on Tuesday night in their re-scheduled FA Cup third round replay - weather permitting - but Fairclough could still face any one of four sides at the weekend.

He told Sky Sports News: "It's an amazing phenomena and I've never known anything like it.

"We could still play one of four teams on Saturday. If the tie gets called off on Tuesday night, then we have to play Swindon on Saturday.

"If we win, we could either play Bristol Rovers or Fulham and if we lose, then we have to go to Bradford in the league.

"In terms of preparation for the players, we just have to wait and see what happens and take it from there."
