Midfielder Jason Demetriou has signed a new contract with Leyton Orient to keep him at the League One club until the summer of 2010.The 20-year-old has been a regular for the Os this season and since coming through the club's academy he has scored six goals in 54 games.

Boss Martin Ling told the club's website: "He is going to be a big part of the future of this football club and he is already a very important member of the squad.

"We're delighted that Jason has signed a new long-term contract."
