Holloway looking to team unity

Mon 21 Jan, 11:00 AM

Ian Holloway hopes that having a free weekend will allow his new-look Leicester squad time to gel and start to move up the Championship. The Foxes, who have made six signings this month and expect to complete a loan deal for Aston Villa midfielder Isaiah Osbourne, do not play again until Crystal Palace visit the Walkers Stadium on January 28.

And Holloway hopes the extra days of preparation will help his side to get a much-needed three points to ease their relegation worries.

"We have got a week before our next game and hopefully the boys can get to know each other a little bit better," said Holloway.

"We now need another win because everyone down at the bottom is getting closer and closer.

"I am looking to catch the ones above us. I am looking forward to the challenge ahead."
