Huddersfield have signed Welsh international defender Robert Page until the end of the season following his release by Coventry. The 33-year-old completed his move to the Galpharm after having his contract with the Championship side cancelled on Monday.
Page has won 41 caps for his country and made over 450 appearances during his career and boss Andy Ritchie believes he will bring great leadership qualities to his Terriers side.
"Anybody that knows Robert or had seen him play knows he will give you 100% whenever he plays and he will also give us a voice on the pitch - pulling his team-mates around," Ritchie told the club's official website.
"He's a very experienced player who has been captain of Wales and he will give us a great sense of leadership on the pitch.
"Frank Sinclair excluded, we have a very young back line and I think that it's important to have a couple of older heads there."
