Tranmere defender Andy Taylor has revealed he turned down offers from several clubs before deciding to move to Prenton Park permanently.The 21-year-old last week signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Rovers following a hugely successful two-month loan spell.

"I had other offers but Tranmere was the club I wanted to join," said Taylor.

"We're only a few points off the play-offs with a lot of games left this season and we'll be doing everything we can to close the gap on the teams above us."
