Huddersfield manager Lee Clark agreed striker Alan Lee's first goal could have been ruled out after seeing his side fight back from two-down to beat Brentford 3-2.
Brentford were in control after Gary Alexander had converted a 21st-minute penalty for Town skipper Peter Clarke's foul on Marcus Bean and then turned home a second at the near post eight minutes later.
Town pulled one back through Lee, who appeared to barge into Brentford goalkeeper Richard Lee before heading the ball over the goalline and after Jamie McCombe had equalised with a looping header, striker Jordna Rhodes curled home a brilliant winner for the home side.
Clark said: "I haven't seen a replay, but 99 times out of 100 the goalkeeper gets the decision. It's almost unique that the attacker gets the decision.
"I have a lot of sympathy for Uwe. I can understand why he is frustrated and angry."
Clark added: "We started the game very poorly and it was not a Huddersfield Town performance. We started badly and were staring down both barrels."

Alan Lee is penalised every week for non-existant fouls so one the other way makes a change
