St Johnstone boss Steve Lomas hailed the second-half display of mercurial Spaniard Francisco Sandaza following the 3-2 win over Hibernian..
The striker has been linked with a move away from McDiarmid Park during the January transfer window, with Rangers known to be admirers of the 27-year-old.
Goals from Lee Croft and Liam Craig sandwiched a penalty from Leigh Griffiths for the hosts before Callum Booth equaliser, but a stunning late winner was appropriate reward for a fine display from Sandaza.
"We were a little bit disappointed by Fran in the first half," said a candid Lomas.
"We asked for more from him, and he certainly gave us that in the second half.
"He's quality, and he has goals like that in him."
