Newcastle assistant manager Terry McDermott has urged the Toon Army to be patient with Kevin Keegan as he attempts to turn the club around.Keegan is yet to see the Magpies win in the league since his return to St James' Park and life is not getting any easier, with a clash against Manchester United on Saturday.
McDermott told The Northern Echo: "Confidence is not great at the moment, but Kevin Keegan is the best man for the job.
"The fans, and I include myself amongst them, will need to show patience because the club needs to go sideways before it can go forward.
"He knows what he wants and he will get it, but it will take time. We will do that together and we will start seeing results improve."
