Rotherham United manager Mark Robins insists that out-of-favour midfielder Ian Ross remains part of his plans.Ross, who joined from neighbours Sheffield United last month, has not started a game since the 1-0 home defeat to MK Dons on January 5.
In the eight league matches since, the 22-year-old has been a substitute on six occasions - making it on to the pitch five times.
Robins said: "He is definitely in my plans, but sometimes it is horses for courses and we will see what the opposition have and Ian Ross may not be best suited.
"But he is a player with good technique and he is a good passer of the ball. He has the ability to open up teams but there are times when he likes to watch his pass too much."
