Walsall boss Richard Money would like to add a defender and a striker to his squad, but insists that he will not be making any hasty decisions.Money has made no secret of his desire to strengthen his options in readiness for the promotion run-in, and he appears to have specific targets in mind.

"I am more than happy with what we have got but we do need a central defender because we are not going to go through the rest of the season injury and suspension-free, and I would like to bring another striker in," Money told the Express and Star.

"But as ever in these situations, I am not going to bring someone in for the sake of it. We have one or two players earmarked and we will wait until they either become available or are not available before we move on.

"I don't want anyone thinking that we are on the phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week trying to bring players in because that is not the situation at all."
