Sheffield Wednesday have completed the one-month loan capture of Chelsea teenager Ben Sahar in time for Saturday's home clash with Cardiff.Owls manager Brian Laws has wasted little time in bringing in a replacement for the injured Akpo Sodje, with Sahar to stay at Hillsborough for an initial month.

Laws said: "Ben Sahar is a young player, but he's played for Chelsea and he has played for Israel at full international level, so we know he has plenty of quality.

"Having to ask players to come out of their comfort zone is not always easy, but the fact Ben wants to come here and show us he's all about tells us he is coming here for the right reasons."

The 18-year-old, Israel's youngest international, is expected to be in the squad against Cardiff. He has made five appearances for Chelsea's first team and was on loan at QPR for the first half of this season.

Sodje has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his injured ankle.
