Almost half of Eurosport web users still think Liverpool will claim the fourth and final Champions League place.

The Reds are currently fifth in the Premier League behind city rivals Everton, with Aston Villa and Manchester City level on points with them.

Despite the turmoil at Anfield and last weekend's FA Cup defeat to Barnsley, 49% of the 12,500 people who took part in our poll cast their vote for Liverpool.

If Rafa's men fail to turn their season around most people think Champions League football will go across Stanley Park to Everton, with 28% of the votes going to David Moyes' side.

Just 14% think Manchester City will claim fourth, while there is very little faith that Martin O'Neill's Aston Villa will continue their fine form - only 9% back the Villans for fourth place.
