Lazio striker Tommaso Rocchi has signed a four-year contract extension that should see him end his career with the Rome club.

Rocchi's old deal at the Biancocelesti ran until the summer of 2009, but his new, £20,000 per week contract expires in 2013.

"Lazio for life!" he declared on his personal website. "I am delighted to sign an agreement that will commit me to Lazio for five years, the rest of my career.

"It is what I have always wanted. I thank all the Lazio fans, who always supported me, giving me the strength to continue and never give up."

Rocchi, who joined the club from Empoli in 2004, will be 36 when the deal runs down.
