Premier League - Kuszczak in Watford move

Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak has signed on loan for Watford.

Kuszczak, 29, has joined the Championship club on emergency loan terms until the end of the season.

The Poland international has not made an appearance this season for United and sits firmly below both Anders Lindegaard and David De Gea in the pecking order at Old Trafford.

He was an unused substitute in the 2-0 home win over Stoke City but otherwise has failed to command a place in the first-team squad, with even youngster Ben Amos making four appearances this season.

Kuszczak will wear the number 35 shirt for Watford and took part in his first training session with the club on Tuesday.

Watford have previously loaned goalkeeper Ben Foster from United.
