Colchester captain Karl Duguid is the latest addition to the injury list for the bottom side ahead of Saturday's Championship trip to Norwich.Duguid damaged knee ligaments during Tuesday night's 3-1 home defeat by Hull and although he is back in light training, he will not be fit for the all-East Anglian clash.
Defenders Chris Coyne (hamstring) and Pat Baldwin (knee) are also training again but will be short of match fitness while veteran striker Teddy Sheringham (foot) is another who is unlikely to be ready.
Midfielders Kevin Watson (calf) and Mark Yeates (shoulder) are out for the season while goalkeepers Aidan Davison (shoulder) and Mark Cousins (appendicitis) remain sidelined.
The Us received one boost this week, however, with the news that full-back Phil Ifil's red card against Hull was overturned after the club appealed to the FA.
