Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd will be without midfielder John Eustace for the trip to face play-off hopefuls Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.Eustace begins a three-match ban after his sending-off against his former club Stoke last weekend so Lee Williamson or Al Bangura should return to partner John-Joe O'Toole at Home Park.
Eustace has also been charged by the Football Association with improper conduct after referee Rob Styles reported him for failing to leave the field of play in a timely manner, so he could get an additional two-game ban and a fine when the FA sit on Tuesday.
Jay DeMerit started in the unfamiliar role of right-back against the Potters as Leigh Bromby continues his fine form alongside Danny Shittu and that should continue, with the loss of Eustace seeing DeMerit reclaiming the captain's armband.
Former Wigan midfielder Damien Francis (knee) is still out while Gareth Williams is expected to miss the whole season after suffering a reoccurrence of a cruciate knee ligament injury.
The Hornets have drawn their last six games - failing to score in their last 259 minutes - but a win at Home Park could still take them back to the top of the Championship.
