Harford forced to wait on pair

Fri 21 Mar, 12:31 PM

Luton manager Mick Harford has injury doubts over veterans Paul Furlong and Chris Perry ahead of the visit of Cheltenham on Saturday afternoon. The Hatters' boss took advantage of the novelty of seeing his side 3-0 up against 10 men at half-time against Oldham last weekend to bring off the pair.

Furlong, 39, tweaked his knee and is a doubt to face the Robins while 34-year-old Perry had a groin strain but is likely to be fit enough to start.

Don Hutchison made his return from a leg injury as a makeshift centre-back replacement for Perry against the Latics and should again be included.

Midfielder Steve Robinson again missed out last weekend with illness but made a return in the reserves' 2-0 win over Northampton in midweek and is in contention.

David Bell is struggling with a back strain and could miss out as the Hatters look for another win to close the gap between themselves and safety to nine points.
