Stoke midfielder Liam Lawrence believes points are all that matter as they push for promotion to the Premier League and the Championship title.The 26-year-old, who signed a new contract with the club on Wednesday, added they may have to adopt an ugly approach in order to pick up as many points in the remaining games of the season.

Lawrence told the club's official website: "I will take seven minging games now to get us up. I don't care now how we do it.

"That's just what you have to do get points, and to be honest as long as we get points on board I don't care how we do it."
