Luke regains gloves against Hornets

Fri 21 Mar, 01:00 PM

Plymouth Argyle are boosted by the return of goalkeeper Luke McCormick from suspension ahead of Saturday's visit of promotion rivals Watford.McCormick was forced to sit out last weekend's 2-1 Championship win at Bristol City following his controversial dismissal in the 1-0 defeat at Scunthorpe but is able to return at Home Park in place of Rab Douglas, who has returned to Leicester after his seven-day emergency loan.

Central defender Krisztian Timar, who has just received his first international call-up for Hungary, is back in contention for Paul Sturrock's sixth-placed Pilgrims after completing a two-match suspension and could replace Marcel Seip.

Seip has partnered Scotland international Russell Anderson, whose loan spell from Sunderland has been extended until the end of the season.

Argyle's squad receives another fillip with the return from injury of Jim Paterson, who has recovered from the hamstring injury that has ruled him out for a month.
