Rovers duo may return against Town

Fri 21 Mar, 10:45 AM

David Pipe and Steve Elliott could return to Bristol Rovers' squad for the League One clash at home to Huddersfield on Saturday.Midfielder Pipe has missed the defeats to Cheltenham and Swansea with the hip problem that forced him off in the first half of the 1-1 draw against Northampton.

Elliott has been sidelined for two months since suffering a knee injury against Fulham in the FA Cup. The defender resumed training last week and is close to returning to the first-team.

On-loan midfielder Anthony Pulis has returned to Stoke to receive treatment for his thigh injury.

Long-term absentee Ryan Green will find out this week if he requires an operation to solve his troublesome Achilles problem and if he does, the defender's season will be over.
