On-loan striker Enoch Showunmi is hoping to come to Sheffield Wednesday's rescue against Crystal Palace in the Championship on Saturday.With top scorer Marcus Tudgay (knee) looking doubtful for the clash, the stage is set for the on-loan Bristol City man to build on the brace he grabbed for the reserves against Leeds in midweek.

Showunmi, who has made eight appearances since arriving at Hillsborough in January, told the club's official website: "I haven't started a first-team game since QPR so I'm really hungry to get back into the team.

"My loan has been extended, I feel really settled at the club and in Sheffield, now I need some more minutes under the belt.

"I came here to play games and score some goals. I had a decent run in the team and was then left out, so I am working hard to return and get my first goal at Hillsborough. Hopefully that will be on Saturday."
