Trio return for Darlo meeting

Fri 21 Mar, 12:00 PM

Chester boss Simon Davies has virtually a fully-fit squad at his disposal for the visit of promotion-chasing Darlington on Saturday afternoon.Midfielder Richie Partridge (calf), striker Chris Holroyd (hamstring) and defender Paul Butler (foot) have all been sidelined in recent weeks, but the trio are all expected to be available for selection against the Quakers.

Midfielder Tony Grant is also pushing for a starting spot after returning to action following a calf injury as a substitute in last Saturday's 3-1 defeat against Barnet.

Long-term injury casualty Nathan Lowndes (back) remains stranded on the sidelines.

The Blues go into the game hoping to end a five-game winless streak and with Davies still awaiting his first victory since taking charge until the end of the season.
